So, weird thing during OUaT. In the scene where Snow decided to go into exile, there was a deer CGId into the background during a couple shots of her. At precisely the same time, Big Dramatic Music started (not inappropriate to the scene). It seemed like a really odd thing to spend resources on, so I assume it must Mean Something, but I'm stumped as to what.
'Heart Of Gold'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The cottage where we're staying doesn't have TV reception (it's in the 1700s, I think, except it has high-speed internet), so I have to wait until tomorrow so I can get Arrow from iTunes.
So basically, I WAS EXPECTING MORE SPOILERS, people. Sheesh.
He's infringing right now. Batman and Spider-man have a tenuous licensing agreement with Tarzan when it comes to swinging on pieces of rope from overhead structures, and they both steer away from doing it in trees, out of respect.
Not that blowhard Arrow.
Man, if they kill Diggle I will leave.
Man, if they kill Diggle I will leave.
WHAT. They can't show him all ripped and half-naked on a promo poster and then kill him. No. Nope. No no no. Half-naked on a promo poster means FULL SEASON. Full SHIRTLESS season.
Do you think they will tease us with his death? Or is the better question "how often"?
How big is his role on Blue Bloods?
I don't remember seeing him this season, actually. I was surprised he managed to film both at all--where does Arrow film (I'm assuming Blue Bloods is in the city)? He was injured at the end of last season but I'd have remembered if he'd died even if I'm not as attentive to that show.
I think this episode had a great amount of plot. Made up for some lack of comic book hero progression last season, IMO. But I also think it was quite ballsy to leave it all for this season and to have such a character change sophomore year.
I give thumbs up.
Teppy, should I wait until you have seen Arrow to post about it?
I hope people who are trying to remain unspoilt are not reading--I was succinct not because I'm nice (lost cause) but because I'm on a tablet. But if we set up informal expectations we can't commit to as a thread, someone's going to get unpleasantly spoilt down the road, and I don't want that to happen.
ita, normally that is how I approach it too, but Teppy and Arrow seem to go hand in hand to me.
Anyway, here it is. Teppy, do not read further if you don't want spoilers.
So Oliver can now come and go as he wants from the island that he had to spend years trying to escape the first time?
Felicity continues to be awesome, and I love the new lair. I was really hoping Laurel was going to get killed.
That looked like a bad wig on what I assume was Black Canary. Do we think it is Laurel's sister still alive?
I liked competent bar running, Thea. Although, I thought her change of heart on her mother was way too quick. How old is she supposed to be? Is she in school at all, I can't remember.
Please give Paul Blackthorne something more interesting to do this season.
Yay, Walter! I hope he sticks around.
