The 2nd Haven this season had some decent snark. "If it makes you feel any better, I never thought you had any authority." "Everybody needs a hobby."
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Sleepy Hollow: That was one of the more disturbing resurrections I've ever seen.
Sleepy Hollow had me hooked the moment the head was lopped off the horseman on the road sign.
Anne, the one in the morgue? Yeah.
"It's hard to explain."
I'm glad to see John Cho back and I absolutely adored the attention paid to his physicality.
His neck put me in mind of the "E'gar suit" from Men in Black.
I like that he's a conflicted henchman but it makes me wonder...how is it that so many characters in fiction choose to hang out with 'the master' in exchange for some future reward.
DUDE. Have you _never_ see a tv show or read a book? The ones who want to rule the world tend to only focus on the tribulation portion of the program. It's never "let's have fuzzy bunnies for all!"
"It's hard to explain."
"I got more fathering in those five minutes than I got in my whole life."
There are some great lines.
I love how fucking snippy this show is. I hope they keep it up.
Ichabod railing about taxes and Abbie shutting him down was a lot of fun.

That's why you need to be the best henchman ever! You want to be the one that gets the good outfit and keeps his or her head. It's stressful, the outfits on the side of evil do tend to be snazzier.
I ran searches on some of the producers during the opening credits. I found an Orci relative and a black guy whose previous gig was Southland. I don't usually look up new names, but I'm interested in the team behind this.
And would love (she says, asking for the world) background ethnic people. Like, extras with two lines. Complicated if you're only focussing on the white familes from the Rev war like this ep--only if they kept on being white.

'Cept no lame - the evil ones can't pull it off.

My instinctive reaction is to suggest that British sci fi would beg to differ, but I am too distracted to search through Doctor Who and Blake's 7 footage (for starters) to illustrate my point.
The Apple has plenty of evil lamé outfits.
