A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The only ex-partner that we got to meet was more than a douche.
Don't forget Victoria Argent is one of those ex-partners. I'd say attempting to murder your daughter's boyfriend in cold blood ranks a bit higher on the douchiness scale than being a smug jackass to your son's best friend.
Good point, but I disagree. Victoria was an enemy, but she was doing her job. She thought he was a threat, and she was trying to eliminate him. She was wrong, but I get how she is the hero of her own tale.
What is Agent McCall going to do when he reviews the recording of him being snippy to (and outsnarked by) a sixteen year old? (I don't remember any ages past Alison or Lydia's birthday). What revisions does he have to make to the text to be noble and fighting for the safety of the world? He wasn't even doing his job well!
P-C, since you got me to watch it, I just mainlined all of S1 of
Orphan Black,
and it was AWESOME. I loved it.
Yes, Tatiana Maslany is The Bomb.
One thing: it's clearly set in the present day. All the tech is present-day, but most of the music is early 90's (Spice Girls, Alanis Morrisette, etc.) I was wondering if this was some sort of deliberate stylistic choice, and if so, why? It was sort of cute, but also jarring.
That's Alison's jam. You'll notice that music is always associated with her.
Glad you loved it!
Aha! I'll have to re-watch. Not that that'll be a hardship.
Well, Being Human went off the rails for a while, but for my money it ended well.
I found I kinda didn't care about them so much. Plotwise, tidy. Emotionally, enh.
Re: Teen Wolf--I'm not the only one who gets distracted by the question of where they've been pissing and shitting during any long bondage scene, right?
Whereas I found it emotionally satisfying, but the whole "The Devil" thing unspeakably silly. Given the stuff I have not blinked at can't defend t hat reaction to the plot, but...
Nope. When they revealed that Boyd, Erica, and Cora had been locked in a bank vault for three months, I wondered why Derek and Isaac weren't able to follow their noses to them.
You don't need to sniff the Sheriff's boxers, Scott. You should be able to smell his crotch from anywhere in Beacon Hills pretty soon.
