You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Okay then, this article answers my rather naive question quite comprehensively...Reused Actors in Doctor Who.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So how soon can Craig Ferguson get Capaldi on the show so they can go all ridiculous and giddy about his casting? I want this yesterday.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ooops. Apologies for the skip. I didn't click your link ita !

Then, I came to the reused actors piece through another article I was reading.

I should have scrolled back before posting.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Due to selective parsing and possibly side effects of, you know, medication, Le Nub is now starting writing Time Lord Statham fic. Y'all can thank me later.

My husband just became inexplicably aroused and doesn't know why...he is in LUURVE with the idea of Statham as the Doctor. He finds it awesomely amusing.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

BBC America sent me a "Buy other great shows featuring Peter Capaldi, the New Doctor!" e-mail.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I actually managed to watch the announcement live on TV in Munich.

I also have the "oh, good, another white guy" reaction, but at least this time he's a little older? It will be nice to have a new dynamic between the Doctor and companion.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've had the impression that Moffat has been trying to bring an old-school feel to the show. Not very successfully, but the intent is there. “Hide” was the only episode that really did a good job of it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So how soon can Craig Ferguson get Capaldi on the show so they can go all ridiculous and giddy about his casting? I want this yesterday.

I'm sure you know about this, Plei, but I did not [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Was the Teen Wolf two weeks back sponsored by Reese's like this week was? Either way, I still think it's funny.

They are epically bad at the "I'm not left-handed either!" flourish. "My boss told me this was both a poison and a cure. Therefore it can be used to reveal!" (paraphrase) -- does that make actual sense to anyone?
