At least with Jennifer the question is why did Derek get so uncharacteristically interested in her so fast, not how could anyone possibly be interested in her under any circumstances.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
MALE WOLVES IN HEAT.
Bring it.
I was amused by the proposed #babyDerek hashtag, but I'm pedantic enough that I think it should properly be #puppyDerek.
Also the girl they had playing his young love interest was so very pretty.
She recurs on SPN.
I....I liked Talia. She is my favourite Hale.
I dislike Derek and Peter more.
Evil scheming lying Peter is my favorite Peter, honestly.
I think I'd like him better if the other Hales treated him like he was a bad guy. I get that if you're of a pack (and is he, technically? Sis? Is Derek their alpha?) that's a strong bond, but STOP TRUSTING HIM.
At this point I don't get the impression that Derek actually trusts him, so much as suffers his presence because he doesn't want to kill him again, and occasionally orders him to do something useful. As for Cora, I can't begin to guess what her views or motivations are since the text tells me NOTHING in this regard.
After rewatching last week's episode last night, I really want to know what Scott thought his division of labor would accomplish. Cora has been pretty much useless in conflicts with the alphas so far (when not an active hindrance/danger to her family), and putting Stiles and Lydia on scene is just giving the opposition two more helpless hostages. Meanwhile Scott, who actually can intermittently stand up to an alpha in combat, runs off to rescue Deaton from an enemy that that can use the supernatural effectively against even alpha werewolves and has so far only been successfully thwarted by Lydia's and Stiles' brains.
I assumed he thought Deaton was his problem, but they should do their best to not send wolves out alone unless some part of the journey is wolf-dependent. Scott got fucked over my Mama Argent because he was alone--they didn't have enough spare humans then, but they do now.
Also, more phone calls/text messaging.
I also thought Scott thought he was running towards a fight as well. He just shouldn't have run alone. And the other kids should just peep through windows if they don't have escorts and Allison isn't packing.
Now I'm reading meta that says Peter was even more unreliable than we saw--as in, this all happened to him, not Derek.
Which would be fine, but then we don't know why the blue eye thing? I suspect Jeff didn't know at the time, or he's changed from the original meaning, because this is kinda confusing for no good reason.
Also that age bullshit--ask them what year they were born Stiles. Stop letting them be assholes to you.
