All is well that ends in pizza.

In the Doctor's personal time line, Rose was 200 years before he married River Song, and River Song has been dead/stored only slightly less time. Of course, he only had a clue how important she was when she died, having only just met her.

I've had an idea that Clara is a manifestation of River trying to break back out of the Library...

I hope Clara is her own thing. "I'm not happy," meant something. I feel like I want to do a rewatch of episodes purely for clue hunting. Fun.

I didn't dislike the submarine episode, but this last one had some great genuinely spooky/scary stuff. The way they, well, filmed - whatever - the creature in the pocket universe before we ever really got a good look at it was so creepy.

What the hell, JAR on Arrow!!!!! How did I not know this? And sadly, he's a bad guy.

Also, I'm pretty sure that's the first time we'd gotten a totally shirtless Digg.

Also, TOMMY HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME?

And I love cranky Slade Wilson.

Right? Yes to all that. He was badass, though. And a lawyer yet again, which amuses me.

Tommy is the best.

And a lawyer yet again

Or pretending to be one. But yeah, when he showed up at the police station and said he was a lawyer, I started laughing, and then said to Tim, "I can't tell you why that's funny." Because we haven't finished watching Angel. t shame

Tommy is the best.

Oh, man, TOMMY FOREVER. I just want to wrap him in a blanket and give him soup.

Also, I wish there was a way to bring Slade Wilson and Cop Daddy together so they could be the show's cranky snarky Statler and Waldorf.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Speaking of Arrow. I only watched the first episode this season, but since there isn't much TV to watch this week, I'm catching up on it tonight. I just finished the third episode, and while it is very pretty it isn't really grabbing me. Does the writing improve at all, or is it all about the pretty? When does Barrowman enter the series? I'll probably keep watching through at least his first episode.

I think it does, maybe around the 4th or 5th episode? (Which is around when Barrowman enters. But his role doesn't really ramp up until later in the season. He starts out kind of as "Hi, I'm gorgeous and vaguely probably evil or at least very shady. And now I must go.")

And the backstory gets a LOT more interesting after the first 3 or 4 epsiodes, IMO.

That's more than a little brilliant.

I'm not sure what you want to improve, sj, the thing I like about it is that it doesn't shy away from ethical quagmires. It did take a while to really grow on me, but I can't remember now how long. It is awfully pretty. I think you are pretty close to Barrowman showing up, though ISTR people complaining that there wasn't enough to his first few appearances, they were more in the way of teasers.

Eta: Tep's description of Barrowman's role early on is much better than mine.

I don't like Laurel very much so far, but I do like the blonde tech girl. Can she be the female I wish Paul Blackthorne was give more interesting things to do.
