I have to say, I'm not loving this season of Doctor Who so far. It makes me sad.
Edit: The fact that I don't love it makes me sad. The episodes themselves are not sad.

This week's episode was particularly boring and really made me miss Rory and Amy.
Yeah. Once the ice warier got out of his suit, pretty much nothing happened for the next half hour.
Phew. I'm so glad it wasn't just me thinking that.
How sad that the much-touted 50th anniversary year is turning out to be so blah.
Bad writing Moffat. No biscuit.

I stand corrected, but no less disappointed.
In fact, even more so! Both of them have done work I have loved but none of the episodes so far this season have engaged me much at all.
Normally, I get so excited for new Who, but I noticed today that I wasn't even looking forward to it.
That's just sad. My standards are not what you would call high.
They usually have me at Tardis.
I liked this episode more than last week's, I think. It was focused.
I love Clara*, but these episodes are not strong. Although I didn't hate last week's.
*Like, seriously would-run-away-to-another-planet-with-her love her.
