A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

The bodyguard is rapidly becoming my favorite character.
Just the scene where he comes into the apartment last week when Kelly Hsu (fuck, that woman does *not* age--I need to get good pictures of her for provocateuse) came in, did his thing and then suspiciously sassed Ollie--I was on his team from then.
I suspect that people who don't get why Coulson was popular might not get that. But there is a not "just" supporting character thing an actor can sell minimal but decent lines with and win me over.
I want to say this was the weakest episode so far. Which is disappointing, considering it had Deadshot.
I'm kind of hoping Deadshot lived and managed to crawl away while Ollie was getting his bodyguard to the antidote.
The poisoned bullets thing seems really forced, to me. The whole idea is he never misses. Why would the poison matter, at that point?
Even there, I could kind of accept it on his sniper rounds. Calling card and all that. But the idea that he took the time to put a rare poison onto a magazine full of machine gun rounds for what is ideally his hold-out weapon just seems really silly to me.
Also, great, get your guy the antidote, but maybe you secret, filthy warehouse base isn't the best place to be treating multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

Yeah, Digg is awesome. I really don't care much about the other characters yet, except maybe Not!Dresden.

Yes, indeed.

I think you will like this episode, then.

That's Cop Daddy, right? Not only is he kind of hunky, I'm definitely liking him.

Right? Regardless of how closely (or not) he hews to comics!Deadshot, there will be no killing of Deadshot, yo.
I wondered how long it would take for the Bodyguard to figure Ollie out. Kinda got handed to him. I think that will be an improvement.
I know the mother and her new hubby are evil, but I love the actors so much, I don't care.

Yes.

Yeah. They consistently showed him as way too competent to not figure it out. I would say the question is whether he is more loyal to Ollie or his mother (since she's paying him) but I suppose there wouldn't be much of a show if it was the latter.

Have we seen any hints of evil from Walter? So far the only scenes showing his mom being evil show her alone with either a flunky or with someone off-screen. I'd think her husband would be too obvious.

He has an accent. He MUST be evil. Or possibly a model.
Deadshot cannot be dead. That would be wrong.
ION, Ming-Na Wen cast in S.H.I.E.L.D.
Arrow side note, my show-watching coworkers agree IT lady was a doppelganger for one of our team members.
Oh, blonde IT cutie was CUTE!
Once Upon a Time: I'm annoyed by the dramatic pauses before revealing something that readers have likely already figured out. Were we supposed to not know that that was Smee? Were we supposed to be shocked that Captain Hook would be heading to Neverland?
