'The Killer In Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

In a move indicative of my predisposition towards fanfic long before I knew what it was, I read the novelization of the movie years and years before I happened to see the movie.

Cracked me up to see Sean Connery pretending to be a Spaniard (with a Scots accent) whilst the alleged Highlander himself was clearly as Scottish as the Eiffel Tower.

I still crack up every time I hear Sean Connery call Christopher Lambert "Highlander." It's meta-awesome.

Did Duncan refer to himself as a Highlander?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Duncan may have said the "McLeod of the clan McLeod" bit, too, but I don't think he ever called himself Highlander.

I think another character or two may have. Ditto on Connor.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Well, I don't think he thought of himself as a sassanach.

More like Brussels sprouts, but yeah. At least Duncan could approximate a Scottish accent when pressed.
