Okay. Ya got me.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I saw some comedian do a riff on the director explaining to Connery that everyone else in the movie is Scottish, but his character is an Egyptian that's been living in Spain for hundreds of years. Then Connery responds, "All right" in a thick Scottish accent.
I have a couple of questions regarding the Sarah Jane Adventures. I've been DVR-ing the US airings, but I haven't gotten around to watching them yet. Accroding to my listings, the first was an hour-and-a-half single episode. Since then each week (except for the Titanic Doctor Who night) has been listed as two half-hour episodes, though many (all?) of them seem to be two-parters (split over the weeks, it seems).
Was the first episode really one long episode? Was the show only airing as a half hour in the UK? And, finally, how many episodes aired in all (or are they still airing this season)?
The first episode was an hour-long (in the U.K., without commericals), Christmas special. There were then 10 half-hour episodes, with 5 story arcs.

Thanks Tom! So I bet the 1 1/2 episode is just the full-length Xmas special (which I think was also why the Doctor Who Xmas episode was 1 1/2).
Hmm, they are going to be one episode light on their current schedule. I wonder what they'll do in it's place (or if they'll air one current Doctor Who en toto).
the SJ adventures have started? what channel?
Sci-Fi channel, Vortex, Friday nights from 8-9 Eastern/Pacific time.
What they did was show the full 1 1/2 hour (with ads) first ep a few weeks ago. Then, on the night when DW premiered, they only showed the first 30-minute ep, which ended on a cliffhanger. The following week (last Friday), they went to the regular schedule of showing the second half of the 2-ep story, and then in the second ep of the hour the first half of the next 2-ep story, ending on a cliffhanger every week, which is fun!
The current story is better than the first one, which was a Slitheen story. This one is Medusa--loads of fun so far.

One important note - I think they are NOT repeating the eps later that night like they do with Doctor Who and BSG (and I'm not sure about on a subsequent night either).
Yep, that hour of SJA is all we get.
Grr. I am annoyed that the tivo did not suggest that to me. Bad boyfriend!
