A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Completely unrelated to any of this--is Derek the only werewolf who's less hairy when he's wolfed up?
Isaac also goes smooth-browed when wolfing out for some reason.
It's really an odd decision in Derek's case - with Tyler Hoechlin's eyebrows they wouldn't even have to do anything with makeup. (Hilariously one poster at TwoP remarked that half the time when she thought Derek was wolfed out she'd realize that was just how Hoechlin looks normally.)
They are the least hairy werewolves in all of history. It kinda sorta makes sense when it's an Actual Teenaged Werewolf, a little, but really....
Also, doesn't submitting story ideas automatically and legaly strike them from being airable?
Not if the rules stipulate that the person who submits the idea certifies that it is their original idea and that they release all rights to the idea or anything derived from it.
Typo,
Nothing to add to your reactions of Lost Girl. I'm waiting until y'all get to the finale because I hated it so much I still want to talk about it and spit hot fire.
Oh, fun!
I am genuinely looking forward to that.
Le Nubian spitting fire will be entertaining. Maybe more than the show. It is definitely junk food, but I'm not sure what kind of junk. It is not like Smallville or Vampire Diaries where one watches for the pretty pretty people. I mean they are good looking enough, but but not on that level. But I'm into it for reasons I don't totally understand. Kenzie is a great character, even is she is not handled right, and Hale is generally pretty good. They can all act except Anna Silk.
Part of it is I think that the writing is better than it seems. Hmm not exactly what I mean. OK, some aspects of the writing are suprisingly good. A lot of stuff is made clear without ever being said explicitly and other things are done well at the same time that much of the writing is godawful It is as though really talented skilled writers were being forced to collaborate with unskilled hacks. And the hacks were in charge, but the good writers slipped in decent writing part of the time.
I'm not as up on the Ponds. I remember when Rose took the core of the Tardis into her, and ended the threat of that season. We had DoctorDonna get our asses out of the clinch. Martha did the walk around the world to get everyone to think dobbyDoctor back into good condition. What are Amy and Rory's equivalents? I mean, I know Rory waited, for instance, but all that sticks with me is him waiting for Amy. I really haven't rewatched Eleven anywhere near as much.
Amy remembered and brought the Doctor back to the universe.
Then, because Moff's a troll and named the episode The Big Bang, she went and honeymooned on the TARDIS and between Amy, Rory, and the TARDIS herself, River Song came into being.
Why did the Who stuff suddenly come in? Did I miss something?
Amy remembered and brought the Doctor back to the universe
Does every companion get basically one thing this time round? Or does River count as two (and a hell of a two to boot)?
Why did the Who stuff suddenly come in? Did I miss something?
My Who question? No reason. Has anyone else talked about it since the premiere date was announced?
