Also, I am now watching the season 2 opener while stuffing envelopes at work- and has Scott's face gotten a lot thinner/more chiseled?

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Nurses get paid pretty well. I can't work out where in Cali to use as a parallel for Beacon Hills for Sheriff Stilinski's pay, although it seems consistent that Cali Sheriffs are paid above the national average.
I'm going to assume they're inland, and in the northern half of California, right? Have they been to the docks and I'm not remembering it (thank you, Sunnydale, for having one of everything)?
Oh- I work with nurses all day- I know they get paid well. I just got the feeling from the show that we were supposed to think Scott was "poor"- he didn't have a new suit, he couldn't get a new phone, he has an after school job. It is probably more that the other people are super wealthy, except Stalinski, whose father probably made the same as Keith Mars when he was sheriff!
Not sure if the mom is a practical nurse or a registered nurse-- I am a little confused because I thought she worked at the hospital, but somehow that was the same place that Derek's uncle was staying (which I assumed was a long term care facility). Long Term Care facilities tend to hire more LPN's and tech's, with just supervising nurses (at least in NYS)
I wouldn't go as far as thinking about long term care facilities--Jackson was there to see Lydia, right? When he used her computer? I figure they're just putting all the sick people in the same building.
I think Lydia and Jackson are supposed to be ridiculously spoil-the-kids rich, Allison is sensible-parents pretty-wealthy, and Stiles and Scott have parents who budget.
-Jackson was there to see Lydia, right? When he used her computer? I figure they're just putting all the sick people in the same building.
Somehow I thought it was 2 different buildings until the reveal where Scott's mother sent the text-- and I was shocked.
I just discovered a need. Stiles/Kenzi.
Can someone make that happen? Please?
Aww, He has a yellow crayon/impala.
Okay, the fuck--clothes while they shapeshift? Only Jackson seems to have an issue, and I'm not sure if his is consistent.
That ended on a much higher note than I was expecting--major casualty Stiles' heart, and don't think that's not deemed as having value.
I like Lydia's arc a lot, and hope Jackson changed enough to catch up with her. It was hard to keep track oh how he was different, since he was spending much of his non-monster time freaked about that.
This pack of alphas--is that what the Argents came into town for? Or was their move triggered simply by the possibly Hale-related deaths and Derek being back in town (which was about that anyway).
Season 2 made me go back and rewatch 1, and seeing it through fonder glasses, but it will feel different with twice as many eps. I wonder how they'll split them, or if they'll run them as end to end as you can manage during summer. That would not be a complaint from me.
Still wondering why Boyd and Erica (like those two) decide to go off? He seemed to have come into his own, there at the end of S1, but now...(loving the interviews I'm hearing now.) I'd have bought his staying back and getting happy puppy times, not working out to be a beta in a group of alphas (OMG, the arguments at the dinner table). So that's a good setup for next year.
More thoughts, in better English, after I have accomplished a night's sleep.
I'm guessing that Kate Argent was behind the Argents move to town -- she needed to tie up the loose end (Derek). I think that Peter Hale got busy about that time -- his first move seems to have been to give The Bite (as they say) to Scott, though.
Remind me, who killed Laura, Derek's sister?
Peter did. That was an earlier move.
Also, wasn't the spiral on the deer earlier? Was that how he convinced Laura to come back to town? I was thinking that was his first move, but I'm not precisely sure when he started killing people related to the fire.
Then I'm completely murky on why he killed Laura. Or for that matter, just let Derek know that his uncle was more or less alive.
Allison's completely justified in becoming an emotional basket-case: aunt, mother and grandfather killed in what, a three month stretch? She could completely dominate Lana (whose Parents Are Dead) in the angst-stakes.
