"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Holy Crap! Does that mean there is now bleedthrough to Peter's universe?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

There's something.

I think Olivia's situation has more to do with Nina's tampering than with Mr. Jones' device.

I don't even know what this show is doing to me.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Frank,

I was always under the assumption, that the universe he is in is his "own." That he really didn't have anywhere to go back to.

I think his presence is bringing people's "memories" back.

I was startled when there was a suggestion on the show that he needed to "go back" somewhere. I never did think that's what happened to him.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Holy Crap! Does that mean there is now bleedthrough to Peter's universe?

I'm gonna go out on a limb, and bet that there is no other universe, at least that we've seen. The two universes that we've seen before have been rewritten, rather than Peter now being in a third and occasionally fourth one. That being said, I can see why that might be a harder conclusion for Peter to come to leap to on the face of it. So Olivia really is remembering things. Whether that's because of exposed proximity to Peter, because of Nina's experiments or some combination of the above, however, is still up in the air.

Oh, yeah... I differentiate between timeline and universe. The amber timeline contains the red and blue universes in which both Peters died as children. So we're talking about bleedthrough to the original timeline in which the redverse Peter survived, but grew up in the blueverse. Ha.

So... if the timelines merge, is Olivia's step-father alive or dead?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yep. Like le nubian, it's confused me that Peter has to go "back" to his timeline. Which would imply that there are multiple timelines, all with multiple universes, and I don't know how reality can handle it. Yet if this Peter-less timeline is now reverting back to the original timeline, do people disappear and reappear accordingly? I thought what was happening in Westfield was a merging of timelines, not universes, hence Olivia's bleedthrough. And I presumed that one guy was dead in the original timeline, which is why he was immune. But that wouldn't explain the woman who was immune but then went crazy anyway, which could be explained by her doppelganger traveling into Westfield.

I think David Robert Jones is going to try to merge the redverse and blueverse entirely, though. That's obvious, right? And it's going to succeed, and that's the finale, and everyone will have two lifetimes of memories, and the cast will get yet another version of themselves to play.

Still wondering about the timeline issue, though.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Bryan Fuller's Munsters remake not on the table due to difficulties in casting.

Considering how cranky a lot of the target audience was about the rumored story changes, I think that's for the best.

it's confused me that Peter has to go "back" to his timeline.

He started off thinking he needed to fix the amber timeline before deciding he was in the wrong place altogether. I don't feel bad about being confused when Peter is too. It does seem outrageously complicated for multiple timelines to co-exist and I don't know if they do, but it is clear to me that this is a different concept than the universes.

I thought what was happening in Westfield was a merging of timelines, not universes, hence Olivia's bleedthrough.

I think Westfield was Jones causing merging universes, but Olivia was experiencing merging timelines. She didn't have the same symptoms as the people there. Not the biological ones anyway.

I think David Robert Jones is going to try to merge the redverse and blueverse entirely, though. That's obvious, right?

Maybe? Unless he and Nina have some more specific plan in mind. I still think we'll meet an alt-Nina, so I think there is probably a more specific strategy in place.

And it's going to succeed, and that's the finale, and everyone will have two lifetimes of memories, and the cast will get yet another version of themselves to play.

Oh dear god, I hope not. I'm not opposed to new versions, but I don't want to lose the ones we have.
