Who among us can ignore the allure of really funny math puns?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I mainlined the last 3 episodes of Dr. Who. My favorite thing? Stormaggeddon!

And I'm kind of disappointed that the Doctor that was "killed" wasn't one of those synthetic humans.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Okay, while driving to Walla Walla today, I started wondering how the regeneration energy appeared, if the Doctor wasn't killed.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

It's really quite simple, you see ... Oh look over there a Dalek! {waves hand}.

how the regeneration energy appeared, if the Doctor wasn't killed.

Well, the Telesecta observed Mels to River's transformation, so presumably could copy it.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I would like, at some point, for the stakes not to be THE END OF ALL TIME. Just for variety.

Yes, very much this.

I can see how this might not be technically a cheat on the concept of "fixed points," but it still felt an awful lot like a cheat to me. On the other hand, you know, it's kind of nice that the Doctor isn't dead, so we still get More Show.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My comment on the finale.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, dear. The parents on the Secret Circle graduated from high school the same year I did according to the yearbook they showed in last weeks episode.

I refuse to believe that I am old enough to have a teenage child. Also all of the parents had their kids as teenagers?
