A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

Was he?

I don't think it was Jesse. It has to be the people the reverend was working with.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Can someone just give Anna Torv ALL THE AWARDS? How many goddamn versions of the same character has she had to play now? And she's made every one of them distinct.

Including the Nimoy version. That's the one that still kills me.

I concur.

Though I also had the fleeting thought that Dave might be going off his nut. He and Lucy had a thing. Who knows.

He keeps saying that the town needs to know the 'whole' truth. Mebbe he's just the guy to tell it and going to use Audrey to that end.

On a side note, I had no idea that the actors playing the Teague brothers are 65 and 70. I'd not have guessed that.

Also? Though I'm glad to see Tahmoh working, I couldn't even remotely see him as Duke's dad.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes - I couldn't see him as Duke's dad at all. If they ever show Duke's mom - she better be dark with a long face.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Fringe: somebody on the AV Club was saying that the Olivias should team up and fight crime together.

The guest star, Jon Pyper-Ferguson did a fantastic job of it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I still really like Haven. I hope it gets renewed.

I began to like Haven more and more as this season progressed. I wasn't so sure for a while. Now, it's appointment tv for me.

I hope the cooler in the Herald office means that Nicholas Campbell can come back, but not in a wrong way.

It was a bit disturbing to see him walking in the graveyard as if he has had a stroke. His face isn't effected, so who knows, but I hope he's okay.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Because I'm in a guest house in France run by a British couple, accompanied by fellow geeks, I just saw the Doctor Who finale.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, I did a quick Wiki check, and Nathan's adopted.

So how do Troubles work in families? Is it the same trouble that gets passed down? I mean, if your trouble is that you resurrect people by digging them up or burying them, surely just get your family out of the funeral business? Or could his daughter have been born with anything?

I don't think it's a one for one with troubles, but I don't know for sure. For some reason, I think they are random.

eta: I take that back! Dwight said that his father knew of his affliction, but didn't tell him what it was. This is not definitive, of course, but it suggests a possible link from one trouble to another.

I also get the feeling that not every troubled person knows that they are triggered by fear. You'd think that, if they knew, they'd turn Haven into Bubblewrapville.

Does anyone have any speculation about what happens when Duke absorbs people's blood? He doesn't think he's troubled. Is he?
