That made me cry too. Loved it.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yeah, I really liked that one.
It was a really well done episode. But I think when your boyfriend is The Centurion Who Waited, you let 36 years slide.
Well, rationally, sure, but after a while being rational about it probably gets hard.
He waited a REALLY long time. Like, I'd let him be late for everything for the rest of eternity, even considering time machine shenanigans. It's a lifetime+ pass.
Yeah, but it's easier to wait when you're plastic and immortal?
She wasn't mad at Rory. Some of her being mad at the Doctor sloshed onto him.
Maybe you are just a better person than Amy Pond.
And Rory did completely 100% volunteer to wait for her. Amy definitely didn't sign up for 36 years of abandonment and running for her life from robots killing her with kindness.
Tommyrot, that's where it ended for me as well, and it seemed so abrupt I wondered if BBC America cut it off early?
I might be a better person than Amy Pond, but I'm not better than Rory, because I'd surely have gone "Honey? 2000 years? IJS."
Heh. I probably would, too. He really is a good guy.
I was much more confused by the time stream business and especially Future!Amy remembering not getting help from her Fiture!Amy than I usually am by timey-wimey shenangigans.
