Quick Fringe rant, don't mind me:
GRR PETER WHY ARE YOU SO DUMB, CAN'T YOU SEE THAT'S NOT REALLY OLIVIA?
Had to get that out of my system somewhere.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh, Zuisa, we all had it at some point. Joinnnnn Usssssss!
Not to mention the idiocy of making the question "who is River Song?" just be about her parentage and not about who she is as a person and what her story is - (plus, the Doctor is going to seek her out as a girl and then fall in love with her as an adult?) well, that just made me think that Moffat's version of Who is getting really boring and really creepy at the same time.
Yeah. This is why the dig at her in the original blog entry didn't ping me like it did others- I think that River had SO MUCH AWESOMENESS and potential, but it's been pissed away by Moffet for reasons stated above. However, Alex Kingston continues to pwn.
PS- where do we (if we do) talk about The Guild?
I think we were doing it in Comedy, maybe?
Wait, what? Did this happen on TW? And didn't Mickey end up in the alt-universe? I'm so confused.
for those questioning this, it was in Tennant's last episode when he was going around seeing all of his companions.
just finished watching Matt Smith on Craig Ferguson. he is seriously charming.
Okay, seriously, the best part of Falling Skies is Colin Cunningham (Pookie to the Gateverse fandom) being completely skeevy, self-interested, and brutally efficient. And buff! I never thought of him as buff before.
On the other hand, this is a story driven by people not asking obvious questions. Which makes me very very cranky.
I like Falling Skies, mostly. I like that the show is less concerned with the bangs and booms of the invasion and much more with how to deal with being occupied and how humanity tries to cope. I am a big Noah Wyle fan and think he's awfully good in it, and Colin Cunningham is totes fab.
I agree Noah Wyle is good, and I'm getting a big kick out of Colin Cunningham, but I really wish the writing were rather sharper. There's no humor, and frankly not much subtlety either.
I want it to be great, because I am ALL ABOUT alien invasions. But it's not.
