Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

PS- where do we (if we do) talk about The Guild?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think we were doing it in Comedy, maybe?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Wait, what? Did this happen on TW? And didn't Mickey end up in the alt-universe? I'm so confused.

for those questioning this, it was in Tennant's last episode when he was going around seeing all of his companions.

just finished watching Matt Smith on Craig Ferguson. he is seriously charming.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Okay, seriously, the best part of Falling Skies is Colin Cunningham (Pookie to the Gateverse fandom) being completely skeevy, self-interested, and brutally efficient. And buff! I never thought of him as buff before.

On the other hand, this is a story driven by people not asking obvious questions. Which makes me very very cranky.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I like Falling Skies, mostly. I like that the show is less concerned with the bangs and booms of the invasion and much more with how to deal with being occupied and how humanity tries to cope. I am a big Noah Wyle fan and think he's awfully good in it, and Colin Cunningham is totes fab.

I agree Noah Wyle is good, and I'm getting a big kick out of Colin Cunningham, but I really wish the writing were rather sharper. There's no humor, and frankly not much subtlety either.

I want it to be great, because I am ALL ABOUT alien invasions. But it's not.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

As not terribly enthused about Falling Skies as I am, it is the first thing I'm watching tonight. So, y'know, it's got that going for it.

However, Alex Kingston continues to pwn.

Yeah, she's really awesome. I'm basically watching the show for her and Matt Smith (and sometimes Karen Gillan) at this point.

Art Crawl!!!

And Falling Skies had a nice cliffhanger, no?

Good thing it's coming back.

Are you guys going to watch the "Best of Doctor Who" thing?

Because - if not: Jewel Staite and AJ Buckley are in a SyFy movied called "Doomsday Prophecy" that could be fun.. . . you know, in the typical SyFy Classic sort of way.

And I finished with Outcasts and that was a murky and confusing series that ended very poorly.
