A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I agree Noah Wyle is good, and I'm getting a big kick out of Colin Cunningham, but I really wish the writing were rather sharper. There's no humor, and frankly not much subtlety either.
I want it to be great, because I am ALL ABOUT alien invasions. But it's not.
As not terribly enthused about Falling Skies as I am, it is the first thing I'm watching tonight. So, y'know, it's got that going for it.
However, Alex Kingston continues to pwn.
Yeah, she's really awesome. I'm basically watching the show for her and Matt Smith (and sometimes Karen Gillan) at this point.
And Falling Skies had a nice cliffhanger, no?
Good thing it's coming back.
Are you guys going to watch the "Best of Doctor Who" thing?
Because - if not: Jewel Staite and AJ Buckley are in a SyFy movied called "Doomsday Prophecy" that could be fun.. . . you know, in the typical SyFy Classic sort of way.
And I finished with Outcasts and that was a murky and confusing series that ended very poorly.
That was the end of Outcasts? Murky and confusing is right. Well, I never figured out what the big questions were enough to be mad about not getting answers, that's something, I guess.
You said it, on Falling Skies.
It was cancelled. I don't think they intended to stop there.
I know - but they were kind of murky and confusing all the way through. I don't think that they ever explained in-show what the ACs were. . . I had to look it up on the BBCA website.
Yes, I could have used a bit of straightforward exposition. On a number of subjects.
Go Zoe. It's your birthday! Who's a ninja?
Warehouse 13: Okay, if Gareth David-Lloyd is gonna be in the H.G. Wells spinoff, I'm in.
