Why couldn't Giles have shackles like any self-respecting bachelor?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think we can reasonably expect that every Torchwood fan here is going to subscribe to Starz. Which means either nothing but spoiler font in here, or discussing it in Premium.

Though, I'm worried about what it means that the Beeb isn't carrying it anymore

It means that Starz offered more money. BBCA is part of BBC Worldwide, and as such the channel is legally forbidden under UK law from recieving "dibs" on any BBC content, and must be treated like any other 3rd party broadcaster. (In practice, this does create conflict between the parts of the business who sell BBC content TO 3rd party broadcasters and the parts of the business who ARE 3rd party broadcasters, but that's why the new office is big enough to separate them by about a quarter of a city block.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It really is an unprecedented event in Buffistadom Topic Classification, isn't it?

Not really. It's only weird because it was in here before. But True Blood is technically Boxed Set material, and has been discussed in Premium without a hitch.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

but I think that's the point though, ita. that it is a series that started off in one thread and then discussion of the most recent season is moved to another thread (not counting anything from natter).

I'm not sure why tv producers don't think of the buffistas when they make programming decisions. It's really inconvenient.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am now picturing some put-upon TV exec wandering the halls forlornly, crying "won't someone think of the buffistas?" to an uncaring world.

Compassionately intolerant

Seriously.

And, thanks for that Jessica. I was worried that TW hadn't performed well enough for the Brits. Knowing that it was a bidding issue makes sense.

Vampire Diaries: Am I being over PC and such in calling Damon a rapist? I thought it was pretty clear that he was getting favours from the women against their will by compelling them. The minute they want to disassociate from him and he glamours them and they stay and kiss him and do anything else, he's sexually assaulted them at the very least, no?

No, I think you're accurate. I take it someone is taking offense?

Absolutely.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The minute they want to disassociate from him and he glamours them and they stay and kiss him and do anything else, he's sexually assaulted them at the very least, no?

Yes. They are no longer able to consent.
