It really is an unprecedented event in Buffistadom Topic Classification, isn't it? My feeling is that by everything logical, the fourth series should go into Premium, but my emotion says that it belongs here.

My investment isn't huge in either direction. I'll just be a bit sad looking for Torchwood elsewhere.
No real logic to that I suppose. Though, I'm worried about what it means that the Beeb isn't carrying it anymore. And that it's going to the channel that makes stuff I really don't like. But, that's a conversation for another day and place.

I don't think we can reasonably expect that every Torchwood fan here is going to subscribe to Starz. Which means either nothing but spoiler font in here, or discussing it in Premium.

It means that Starz offered more money. BBCA is part of BBC Worldwide, and as such the channel is legally forbidden under UK law from recieving "dibs" on any BBC content, and must be treated like any other 3rd party broadcaster. (In practice, this does create conflict between the parts of the business who sell BBC content TO 3rd party broadcasters and the parts of the business who ARE 3rd party broadcasters, but that's why the new office is big enough to separate them by about a quarter of a city block.)

I'm not sure why tv producers don't think of the buffistas when they make programming decisions. It's really inconvenient.

Vampire Diaries: Am I being over PC and such in calling Damon a rapist? I thought it was pretty clear that he was getting favours from the women against their will by compelling them. The minute they want to disassociate from him and he glamours them and they stay and kiss him and do anything else, he's sexually assaulted them at the very least, no?
