Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

I think so, yeah.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Never mind the baby, what did Walter cross over in the first place for?

You mean originally? Because his own son died, and his son's counterpart -- Peter -- was about to die, and he couldn't stand by and let it happen, so he crossed over with the antidote for Peter's disease, but it all got fouled up, and he had to bring Peter back to save his life, which set off the rips in Walternate's universe, threatening their world.

Or were you asking more recently?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I just hope this doesn't mean that Joshua Jackson has left the show. He's been a lot of fun and more as Peter. Damn. That was quite an ending. This show is more batshit insane than Alias or Lost. And yet it makes a bit more sense than either on a consistency level. I'm a bit in AWE at this point.

Victor, I mean as of right now, with Peter sucked through a crack in time or whatever, if he never existed, why did Walter cross over the first time?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hm. "served his purpose" and "never existed" seem mutually exclusive to me unless they are different timelines/universes. I can't quite articulate my thoughts on this yet.

I need to see the opening credits again. Was the gray-verse the future, or the merged now? There was different text, too.

This is kind of sweet. A thank you to Fringe fans. [link]

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Awww. It's interesting to see Broyles' real voice. It's kind of disappointing that he's not that intense all of the time.

That was pretty cool. "I'm in the future, dude!"

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I was freaked by Anna Torv's accent.

Also: Brad Dourif! I can't believe they got freaking Wormtongue for only two scenes.

I admit that I was getting cranky through most of this episode; for me the show is about Olivia, and I don't much care about Peter (or even Olivia/Peter), so having an entire episode in which Olivia does nothing but get shot by Walternate? Not all that fun for me.

But the ending gave us double!Olivia. And I have no idea what will happen next...
