Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Crap, will a grandchild fit in that thing he was building?

Well, he's continued to be adamant about no experimenting on children, but if he can continue to super age the child...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

This was the first appearance of Captain Jack, right?

Yes. Mmmmm, Captain Jack. t /transuding furies

Having watched the prequel thingy (I kinda feel like I cheated on Daniel, not waiting to watch it with him), I would just like to say, whiskey tango foxtrot.

I'm pretty sure I stole it from somewhere (as opposed to making it up myself).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I know Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was military slang in the Vietnam era.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Bubbles! I mean, Henry! Nice to see him again, though now I'm worried about his safety since he knows so much.

What was the business with the blood sample at the end, just keeping the kid out of the system?

What was the business with the blood sample at the end, just keeping the kid out of the system?

Evidence the kid was Peter's, just in case there was a question?

I pretty much knew that had to be an inside job, because they hadn't done anything to date to set up any internal political opponents for Walternate. And you don't start that sort of plotline with a big gun like kidnapping his son.

To be honest, though, I did wonder if somehow Marilyn was in on it. Just a little bit.

I do like that Link and Charlie know about the switch now, and are starting to wonder about what else Walternate isn't telling them.

That said, and it was a suspenseful episode, I am SO TIRED of Monstrous Pregnancies in sci-fi shows. Can we just stop those now? Please?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm assuming the blood test was to make sure the baby (did we get a name?) had the right midi-chlorians to power the universe-destroying machine....
