Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
damn. oh well.
Wonder Woman pilot summary that sounds less dire than I was expecting. But I'm still not excited.
I stopped reading the pilot around page 34. I couldn't take anymore.
I'm not sure about always, but Diana's been able to fly at least since the George Perez post-Crisis reboot in the mid 80s. And John Byrne didn't take that ability away despite giving her a new version of the Invisible Jet, so I assume personal flight dates back at least to his comic fan days.
She had super-jumpy powers at her very start, and has been flying since 1966. So, since most of us were consuming her.
Leaked audition tape. I don't get how some stuff isn't immediately embarrassing. Or was there worse shit in the script that David took out thinking "no, this makes a strong character look inane."?
That scene was the aforementioned page 34.
God, I can't follow that link. Just mousing over it was awful enough.
I really like Adrianne Palicki, but I suspect I won't be able to watch this thing.
Diana is going to hallucinate Dr. Psycho dancing to "Hooked on a Feeling" at some point, isn't she?
They lost me at Etta Candy.
