Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Diana is going to hallucinate Dr. Psycho dancing to "Hooked on a Feeling" at some point, isn't she?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Etta was fine for me in the Perez run. I have nothing against the character. I just think Diana is going to suck.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wonder Woman's flight powers were pretty limited but grew in the 60's. It did take post-crisis to become part of canon. The plane she's had since the get-go, as she needed other ways to travel, and other places, and it's a lot easier to carry stuff and passengers.

Signed, used to have a lot of comic books of all flavors and read a wide variety of them, but really hasn't gone back and examined his memories.

I really seem to remember the comic book WW getting more into flight after the Lynda Carter TV version went off the air.

Probably time to hit the wikis.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, geez. Is Fringe going where I think it is?

Hm. Not so much. Which is a good thing. For now.

Random thoughts...
That was the first time we've seen Olivia drink all season.
I was delighted by the Stoppard reference. I hope the building on the other side was called The Guildenstern.
Walter's breakfast scheme was cute, but doesn't he know that Olivia never eats. Not on screen anyway.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, that was some excellent use of coin flipping. Derek definitely lives in the Guildenstern.

Where did you think they were going that they didn't?

I'm guessing the lady who left the Rosencrantz Building for the Schrodinger Hotel is not going to have a simpler life, somehow.

That much is (un)certain.
