Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

'Underneath'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, clearly they had to do something about that exotic "George" that just screamed British to American audiences.

Art Crawl!!!

Ha! I completely forgot what the American George's name is.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

A couple of Doctor Who mugs from Think Geek. Not really a big deal, but the alt-text on the TARDIS mug cracked me up: [link]

The actual copy is pretty cute too. The Dalek one states that it won't actually exterminate anyone, and the TARDIS one does mention that it is impervious to the Master materializing another TARDIS inside.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, there are a lot of good jokes in there. Worth reading.

Features nine Daleks in the original black and white casing - no iPod color schemes here!

Won't blend in with other, inferior mugs - broken chameleon circuit and all that.

I order almost all of the gifts for my brother from Think Geek and it usually takes twice as long because I have to read the copy and follow links to other products. It's very bad for my pocketbook too 'cause I alwasy find stuff that I just have to have.

I just ordered the TARDIS mug. I've been needing a mug for here at work, anyway.

ION one of the account managers here at the office, just offhandedly told me that we had crates of Torchwood costumes in the warehouse for a WEEK, and I didn't even know it. I am bereft. I could have pawed at them as they were being re-crated to go back to Cardiff.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Skipping a bunch. Apologies, etc. if this has been posted before: Doctor Who enters the Construction Toy market

BBC Worldwide has announced a major new deal with Character Options' new Construction division which will see Doctor Who enter the construction toy market for the first time.

The Character Building range will include 3D micro-figures, brought to life with sculpted facial features whilst play sets will be uniquely tailored to Doctor Who. Fans will be able to build their own Doctor Who world with all their favourite characters including the Doctor and Amy Pond with their famous foes the Daleks, Cybermen and Weeping Angels.

They are all very cute....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Very very very late to the party, but I have to say that we just started watching BSG and OMG, y'all. O. M. G. Pretty Jamie B, really smart and layered writing, strong female characters, and James Callis being all yummy and nuts. And Tricia Helfer? Whoa. I said to the DH during one scene where she was invisible--"How can they not all be totally distracted by this woman all the time?"
