'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Ah, I get it. Thanks!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The mixed blue and red?

Someone on the Internet joked that they wanted purple credits this time. Blue and red will do.

JenP - Dec 03, 2010 6:58:34 am PST #15144 of 30001

Have they had different credits for the different universes all along? I watch online and don't usually stick around. Now i have to check it out of course.

Yeah, the regular credits are blue, and the alternate credits are red. It's fun. (Also, the alternate credits have different fringe sciences.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Which one was that (whitefont for zuisa if need be)?

the baby, of course. DK and BB were totally on board, the rest of the writers didn't know what to do with it and so they just didn't deal with it for months on end. But it ended up turning Aeryn from someone with her own story into Aeryn-the-Mommy, which didn't sit well with a lot of fans. Well, ME, anyway.

As for Fringe, Pacey just doesn't do it for me as an actiony leading man. But it doesn't make a big difference here: I watch for Olivia and the HSQ, not the Great Love Story of Olivia and Peter.

Now, if they brought John Scott back... (Yeah, I know: never gonna happen)

Speaking of which, did we ever find out John's story? He wasn't a shapeshifter but he was dodgy: was he on Walternate's payroll?

I might have to rewatch the pilot.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh yeah, that definitely was a drag on the season. That was another thing that I thought they redeemed with Peacekeeper Wars (especially the canonical mpreg) , but I'm not sure enough to justify what it did to season 4.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Season 4 did get good again for the last few episodes. But pretty much all their meandering around in Tormented Space was forgettable.

Tormented Space

Great name. Quite a shame they never found anything interesting for it to mean.

The more Farscape turned into a big arc-y soap opera, the angrier I got. I should have stopped watching after S3.

But Farscape and Homicide are why I don't mind if shows get cancelled while I still enjoy them.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Oh, and...Luke, was it? Number 2 guy in the Chosen? I thought they gave his character some interesting layers with the pre- and post-Chosen, and struggles with faith...

t /just talking to zuisa t /abrupt off-topic outbursts (for now anyway)

On Topic: Yes, Farscape S1-3 = awesome, still haven't watched 4, you guys are not inspiring me to do it anytime soon. And I'm not sure if Consuela ever got her toaster, but it was largely due to her pimpage that I got hooked.
