I've always thought the tone around Baltar wasn't like the tone of the rest of the show. He was laughable and moustache twirling and pathetic in his cravenness. So far, by placing him as they have, they;re shining a spotlight on his otherness, and surrounding him with people almost as ludicrous as he is.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
True to form, I have yet to (re)watch the BSG premiere. Bad fan, no biscuit.
But I saw this on my flist today and thought the Torchwood fans would appreciate it.
But you have seen it already. (I hope Dylan is feeling better today.)
It was my fervent hope at some point during the middle of last night's BSG that Baltar would be shot in the head.
Or pushed out an airlock. I'm not picky. I cannot stand Baltar and it is time for him to die.
TW: This ep broke my heart. It really really did. Fuck.
They killed Tosh! I knew Owen was a goner ever since his hand was broken. I knew they couldn't keep fixing him up like that. But damn. Why do Tosh like that?
TW: today was the perfect day for me to watch the finale. I cried and cried and cried. Such a clean, civilized and yet heart breaking way to send off two characters. Lovely.
I'm worried that Grey is going to end up being the Apocalyptic Jack in the Box, so to speak though. Way to ensure a ready made baddie every time you run out of ideas. I was with Capt'n John. Ending him would have been a mercy .
Doctor Who 4.01:
After yesterday's Torchwood, this was exactly what I needed. Little marshmallow babies with faces and little peeping noises and wavy hands!
And wow, ROSE. Didn't expect that so soon. Now she probably won't be back until episode 10.
Couldn't agree with more re: Grey, bonny. It's a bit of a cop out, to my mind. But, at least it means we might get to see Capt. John again! Because, you know, not so evil after all.
Hey, they just advertised Season 4 Doctor Who on BBCA - you know Sciffy on BBCA during an episode of Season 3 of Doctor Who.
The BBCA feed is kind of sucky today. I hope it improves by 8 pm.
loved torchwood tonight. Still processing.
Torchwood tonight (the BBCA broadcast) was pretty frelling devestating. Very THE BODY in some ways, though from a completely different perspective. Jonah's Lovecraftian state was both creepifying and heart-breaking. Intersting name choice too. What good is it to survive the belly of the beast if you are permanently damaged mentally in the process.
