Baltar is just getting on my nerves. I hope he isn't going to spend the whole season with his eyes bugged out. I fear that one of my dreams for this season is that he does something really stupid and it makes him really dead.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Baltar made me laugh and laugh.
But I do groan at the forward momentum of his story, where is it going? I can see a dozen different paths for the rest of the cast of characters, but his story is too isolated right now. They have literally cut him off from the rest of characters we know and "care" about. Even when he was on the basestar at least then he was with Six and Xenalon it wasn't so disconnected from the rest of the story...um, well, actually, I think I kinda hated that too.
But for now, I'll appreciate that Baltar is funny again, and I love his bugged out crazy eyes, they make everthing that much more funny!
Torchwood: Holy shit is right. I don't know if I could have watched it, if I'd read the whitefont first. It was bad enough watching Owen die the first time. Waaaah!
I loved the altar with the Xmas lights on it, and intend to build one in my living room ASAP....
When you create a sci-fi world, it's always desirable to give your aliens punnable names. For example, from B5:
Knock-knock.
Who's there?
Kosh.
Kosh who?
Gesundheit.
I thought that they needed to get that lovely portrait of President Baltar from above Colonial One's toilet to add to the altar.
My favorite reference from last night is by far "the Baltar Altar."
I've always thought the tone around Baltar wasn't like the tone of the rest of the show. He was laughable and moustache twirling and pathetic in his cravenness. So far, by placing him as they have, they;re shining a spotlight on his otherness, and surrounding him with people almost as ludicrous as he is.
True to form, I have yet to (re)watch the BSG premiere. Bad fan, no biscuit.
But I saw this on my flist today and thought the Torchwood fans would appreciate it.
