You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

okay, barring Kara actually being the final Cylon, my theory is that there was timey wimey shenanigans and that she was pulled out of the raptor before it went kablooey and went to Earth, came back, but the timey wimey will catch up with her and in the end she'll be back in that raptor going SPLAT.

Gaius was hilarious, Lee is on a path I saw that he should be on in season one, so YAY! continuity, and I think I'm siding on Roslin being the final Cylon as noted by someone over at TWoP, seeing as she has that connection with Six, vision-wise.

Does anyone think that Saul's shooting of Adama was a waking nightmare of him doing what Boomer had done, or was it actually some programming making itself known? If it's the latter, and shooting Adama was an objective, then that should have been done a long time ago, no?

Art Crawl!!!

I thought it was a waking nightmare: the thing that he fears the most.

Once again Gaius had the best line. (Seeing him call Gaeta "Butterfingers" at the trial again was great.)

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Julie, I think it could be either or both with Tigh. seriously, I have no idea where this is all going! Yay!

the only thing I didn't like was screechy Starbuck. Crazy is ok, but screechy I can't stand!

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, the preview was fascinating: Cavil has been lobotomizing Raiders??

Is he working to hide the final five from the other Cylons?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Man, I don't know how I feel about this Gaius As Jesus plot. Was he really in earnest when he told that guy to kill him? Gaius being self-sacrificial? Talk about OOC.

The pre-opening credit battle scene was one of the most spectacular this show's ever done. Fuck, that was awesome. And despite my "WTF, show?" and vowing never to take this show serious after S3 finale, I found myself all revving up when the drums came in during the credits. Ahhh, the drums. I've missed you!

Put me down as another person who has her kittens on Roslin being the Final Five.

Art Crawl!!!

I really like the Maiden, Mother, Crone group they have protecting Hera. It's like there are all these factions and they don't all really know that the others are out there - four of the final five, the Hera protectors, Gaius and his cult - Gaius may be a Hera protector too; Starbuck, etc.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

At this point, I don't see who else it could be besides Roslin.

Although Lee? Would be fun. Either Rheanna or Yahtzee wrote a story about that which was pretty awesome.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

BSG: That was very pretty, especially the beginning bit.

TW finale: That was very mean. I guess I should have seen Tosh's demise a mile back, starting with when I fell in love, but they did it in a way that made me blame myself for overlooking her (much like Owen, in that regard). When she shuts him up by telling him he's breaking her heart--oh, that struck a chord. And it did with him too. I'm thinking "Yay! More character development for Owen!" but he's fucking dead so who cares. I do not have an emoticon sufficient to the task.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

BSG: The special effects continue to leave me awestruck. I'm worried about the future explanation of Starbuck's time travel/blackouts. If she's not a cylon, then I think there is only a slim chance not doing a bunch of eye rolling. I'd rather have Roslin as the fifth though.

Does anyone think that Saul's shooting of Adama was a waking nightmare of him doing what Boomer had done, or was it actually some programming making itself known?

I didn't think Saul's vision was programming because when it happened to Boomer she was completely unconscious of the mission. After the fact asking "what happened?" Saul looked like he was letting his mind obsess on his fear complete with horror scream as soon as he had done it.

Man, I don't know how I feel about this Gaius As Jesus plot. Was he really in earnest when he told that guy to kill him? Gaius being self-sacrificial? Talk about OOC.

I thought he was in earnest when he told the guy to kill him but not for self-sacrificial motive. I think he would have taken it as a way out of his misery, if there was another side-effect, that was beside the point. Just like saving Roslin. Just like saving Callie. I thought it was very much in character. More like "take me instead of the boy because I am more worthy of not suffering anymore and bonus that I don't have to do the deed myself." That isn't to say that he didn't feel sorry for the boy. I'm sure he did. I just didn't see it as the motive.

not your mom's socks.

Only saw the first half of BSG and am hoping we can pick up the rest tonight. What we saw was awesome.
