Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Mason...we hardly knew ye and your brief glimpses of sexy tattoos. *sniff*

Eh, Mason kind of bored me. Plus, I like how the show is willing to up the body count. I didn't expect Aunt Jenna to live, either.

If they kill her, I think they'll save it for when it'll hurt Alaric the most. (That's what I'd do...)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And drive him sobbing into Damon's arms.

Amirite?

I'd read it.

Amirite?

You are. You absolutely are.

Man, I would totally watch the Damon sexing and killing road trip show. I am shallow like that.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Anyone else cheer when Lois unveiled that modern version of the old Mighty Isis costume?

ETA: Um, Oliver, it wasn't Osiris' heart that Isis was unable to recover...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"O my queen, said the royal sorcerer to Hatchepsut..."

Loved that show.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I'm rewatching BSG with my boyfriend (he's never seen it. I saw all of it, but in a really messed up order.) I forgot how much I DESPISE Lee Adama. I hate how he's always the only one who can do a job. "OMG! He's the only one who can be CAG!" "OMG! He's the only one who can command Pegasus!" "Oh, here Lee. Have your grandfather's Law books. I'm sure you won't need them at all in the near future." "OMG! He's the only one who can get Baltar off for treason!" "Oh wait! Now we need him as a pilot again!" Grrrrrr.

I wasn't watching the show when it was airing, so I missed most of the discussions about it. I'm curious what other people felt about him. (I also forgot how much I hate Callie for some reason.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The wounds are still pretty fresh for me wrt the conclusion. That kind of eclipses just about every memory of the show EXCEPT my hate for Baltar. I really wanted the character to kill himself several times during the run of the series.

Lee irritating but Baltar hits my buttons.
