Massive fail, SciFi Channel. I'm practically a captive audience this weekend, so if you were airing classic horror movies, or the Underworld series, or even a bunch of your grade-Z Horrorfest flicks you'd have me as a rapt viewer for 48 hours. But no amount of Halloween spirit can make me sit through a Saw marathon.
'The Killer In Me'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I feel your pain, Matt. It seems like every channel that can possibly air one of the Saw movies is doing so right about now, and there are what, 7 or so of them to choose from? I tried to watch part of one once just to see what it was about, and made it through about 3 minutes.
I just cannot take Saw in any way, shape, or form. I'm not quite sure what the point of the movies are. If I want to see that level of sadism, I'll just read the news.
Being Human: saw a bit of the blu-ray of season 2 this weekend and I am appalled that it appears that BBCA cut a major plot point, i.e., when Daisy and Mitchell are in bed all covered in blood and planning to kill all humans and Daisy says something about just the two of them. Mitchell reples that there is one more, i.e, he put into effect the plan to revive Herrick. I'm sure I would have remembered that if it had aired and it amazes me that they cut it!

Torture porn. I don't get it either. It disturbs me that there's that big a market for it.

Bwah? Really? Because once I got past the surprise of seeing Herrick reappear my first thought was that he'd be an enemy chasing them down (seeing as how George killed him and all). I'd definitely remember if they had aired Mitchell saying he'd planned the resurrection. That's a big plot point to edit out!
deleted -- somehow double-posted
I know, I can't believe that there wasn't something else that they could have trimmed.
Just finished watching S2 of Being Human from Netflix. I need screen-caps of Mitchell all vamped out on the train. I am a bad person.
Huh. So mob drama can be improved with the addition of killer robots. Cool!
