Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

'Get It Done'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not entirely sure why IO9 thinks it's bad news for Caprica, but another BSG prequel.

Did anyone watch Vampire Diaries last night? Holy heck that show amazes me! It's constantly moving the plot forward at a fast pace and does things I completely don't expect!

OMG, Caroline's mother forgave her. I so don't understand people. Nor do I understand how Katherine set off Auntie remotely.

Poor Caroline! Her mother accepted her, and she still had to mindwipe her!

Damon was, IMO, doing what Damon does best. Being menacing and snarky, then killing people. Really, the episode just needed him to have sex with someone, and it would have been perfect.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Nor do I understand how Katherine set off Auntie remotely.

I'm guessing she put the whammy on her in person earlier to be triggered verbally. With, um, a built-in time delay so she'd have time to taunt Elena.

How could she set it off verbally? She was talking to Elena at the time, and there was no indication she spoke to Auntie whatsername. It seemed she went straight from Damon to Elena (she didn't talk to ex-boyfriend until afterwards, right?).

Auntie answered the phone and handed it to Elena, no?

I could very well have missed that.

Art Crawl!!!

I need to rewatch. I was seriously distracted by other stuff and missed the meat of the episode.

ION - new backdoor pilot for a BSG spinoff:

few months ago, the Syfy network commissioned an online series called 'Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome,' a chronicle of the war experiences of young William Adama.

The network liked Michael Taylor's script for the project so much that Syfy will air 'Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome' on the network as the pilot for a possible young Adama TV series.

I hope they use the same actor that they used in the earlier webseries. (The above was from Mo Ryan's column.)

Yep, she did.
