A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think she's The Doctor's future wife, and I also think that the mystery "great man" she killed is The Doctor.
Maybe. The only problem with those theories is they're too obvious (because for some reason I'm thinking they'll go for something unexpected).
Also, at the end of
The Big Bang,
River tells the Doctor he'll see her again soon, and then says, "I'm sorry, but that's when everything changes." The "I'm sorry" bit makes me think it'll be something less happy than marrriage....
The Sarah Jane Adventures starts up again today.
And the series has some interesting news for Who fans:
I think I would have rather they just waited until the situation came up and have the doctor say, "Oops! Guess I was wrong.
Maybe. The only problem with those theories is they're too obvious (because for some reason I'm thinking they'll go for something unexpected).
I think they will too.
But I can see a marriage ceremony being the one time a Time Lord would reveal his real name.
Let's be careful with the blackfont of the linked information.
Or who knows? Maybe the one time a Time Lord can reveal his real name is when he opens a fried chicken franchise.
The Doctor would never open a fried chicken franchise. A fish & chip shop, sure.
Lots of planets have a South.
Allo, my name is [unpronounceable Gallifreyan gibberish], you killed my TARDIS. Prepare to die!
The "I'm sorry" bit makes me think it'll be something less happy than marriage....
I always have this weird feeling that she's affiliated with the Master somehow (or she was in her past). There are so many interesting ways her story could go. It would be fun/heartbreaking to watch the Doctor fall in love with her, but then meet her in her past where she doesn't love him at all. Whatever she is, I hope she's in lots more episodes because I really love Alex Kingston (way more than Amy Pond who I still don't get).
