Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I echo Morgana. I'm also tired of the "it was just a misunderstanding!" plot twist. They did exactly this "you think I shot him, but I didn't" thing earlier when Chuck thought he saw Sarah kill a guy in cold blood. Maybe this is supposed to be calling back to that, but still. Don't care.
Fact is, Chuck really can't be a "real spy" if he can't kill a bad guy on orders. What, he didn't know that? Sarah didn't know that? Suddenly there's angst over what they both should have known before they started the "make Chuck a real spy" campaign.
Man. I like the show, but my interest is losing momentum. I wish they'd resolve this once and for all, one way or the other. Also, please kill Shaw. He's dull.

Watched the latest Chuck. I could never get behind the show because of the unconciliatory overall tone with the subject matter. It's all yucky and messy and gross, and not in an awesome HBO/Showtime/FX way.
The whole Sarah and Casey are cold blooded killers but we like them they're awesome Yay! oh no Chuck you're sweet Kaylee and we don't want you to be a killer and you don't want to be a killer but you want to be a spy which means you need to be a killer and that's wrong wrong wrong for you and I'll hate you if you become like me and hey I'll help you get in a situation to become like me even though you're grossly underqualified and....

I mean, there's some interesting stuff in there, but the way the show handles it pushes the interesting aside and leaves just the yucky for me. And I can't help but think that it's because they are bending over backwards to make their premise work. It's too much like trying to get yucks out of Monk's mental and emotional disorders.
For me, Sarah's chosen career and her desire to keep Chuck pure could be fascinating, and delve into her own possible self-disgust and wish for personal purification, which they touched on fleetingly towards the end of the other nights ep, but has been bugging the shit out of me for years. To keep him the way she loves him meaning that she has to get to that level and keep him with her, meaning getting out of the business. But really I keep coming back to: Chuck needs to get the fuck out of the kitchen because they use gas stoves.
