Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Sheppard was in the preview for next week's episode.

Ahh. I stand corrected. My TiVo cut the program off half way into the preview, too.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Dear Chuck writers: I am sick unto death of the whole Chuck/Sarah will-they-won't-they-do-they-don't-they romance. Honestly, I don't care. There's no spark there, and that storyline died long, long ago. Please to put it out of our misery. Thank you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I echo Morgana. I'm also tired of the "it was just a misunderstanding!" plot twist. They did exactly this "you think I shot him, but I didn't" thing earlier when Chuck thought he saw Sarah kill a guy in cold blood. Maybe this is supposed to be calling back to that, but still. Don't care.

Fact is, Chuck really can't be a "real spy" if he can't kill a bad guy on orders. What, he didn't know that? Sarah didn't know that? Suddenly there's angst over what they both should have known before they started the "make Chuck a real spy" campaign.

Man. I like the show, but my interest is losing momentum. I wish they'd resolve this once and for all, one way or the other. Also, please kill Shaw. He's dull.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Baldwin will never be able to refer to his bunk without me snickering.

Did I miss something--what would happen if Chuck failed the test? Would he not have handlers?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Also, please kill Shaw. He's dull.

He's no Bryce Larkin that's for sure.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Dude. I didn't know that "V" tonight was a recap clip show! On one hand: lame. On the other hand, I can go to bed earlier!

(Wow, this narrator has the world's most boring voice.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am going to try to watch V because I loved it to distraction when it was on 20 years ago. However, I am having a hard time getting over the fact that I dislike the main character FBI agent woman.

Art Crawl!!!

And they're repeating two hours of V on Saturday.

So, I could have watched either Southland or Justified earlier.
