I love Awesome as a spy. It's good times. I'm also liking the addition of Shaw. Could make things interesting. Professionally, at least. The wedding ring (and his pointed comment to Sarah) implies personally as well.

Upon googling "Shaw" and "superman" on a whim, the top hit was George Bernard Shaw and "Man and Superman".
Maybe Shaw's wife's name is Ann who bullied him into marrying her.

Sanctuary - yes. That was the main problem - but otherwise it was amusing and made sense in the context of the story. I mean, dance as a method of speaking to God is a thing after all, no? Plus, isn't Kali often pictured dancing - Kali and Shiva both - so associating dance with Kali also makes sense.

The project is from BBC Worldwide Prods., with original series creator Russell Davies writing the script.
Also, some of the current cast — most likely John Barrowman, who plays the immortal Capt. Jack Harkness — might star if Fox orders "Torchwood" to pilot.
