And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Our wings are not tired.

Ooh, tomorrow Charisma Carpenter stars in a Syfy Classic called "House of Bones."

I tried, but couldn't stick with it. Although Charisma, still real pretty.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm not sure I buy all the heads of Sanctuary houses jumping on the bandwagon of the brand new obviously full-of-himself NYC head as the one to call the shots.

This was a persistent habit in the Stargateverse which also made me scratch my head. Then again, I've seen that sort of maneuvering work in real life...particularly in the non-profit world, so it isn't as far-fetched as I'd like it to be.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Unrelatedly, David Tennant on Catherine Tate's Christmas Carol special.

That was lovely!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What is the person who has control of the spider supposed to do? Like does that person control Bertha? What is the person supposed to tell Bertha to do?

Clearly the young man who has been training for the spider since birth will be where the spider goes at the end of this storyline. It will be interesting to see how they get there.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Glad I didn't try watching Sanctuary if a spider figures in the story! Yikes!

I don't even like typing the word!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

do you have arachnophobia? if so, do not watch this episode. at all. seriously. I think it would give you nightmares.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

If however, you enjoy seeing actors you recognize from Pirates of the Caribbean in animalistic monster suits, "Demons" is the way to go.

I can't decide if the show's getting better or my standards are getting lower. It was nice to see the friend develop some agency even if she was totally useless for most of the episode.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah seconding Le Nubian. I suspect that this (the current Sanctuary) would be worse than many spider based horror movies for arachnophobes.

Now that they have made Kali an actual character in their show, will they have actual zombie Jesus? Or is this not a fair comparison? Hinduism is a living religion. I wonder how actual believing, observant Hindus would feel about this.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone explain to me how they tied the religion to the abnormal? I glazed over that bit.
