Is the world, or rather, Britain, ready for an American Doctor?
I think an American Doctor might cause riots at the BBC.
I'm ready for an American Doctor.
One that will have to fake his/her accent, but I'm ready for one.

Alexis Denisof's American accent is more awkward than his English one.
I'm not quite ready for an American one. I see the franchise as so quintessentially British.
The way they've been de-aging the Doctor with each regeneration, we'd probably wind up with Dakota Fanning.
Or her daughter.
Matt Smith will only be two years younger than Peter Davison was. There hasn't been a consistent de-aging trend of Doctors. Eccleston was in his early 40s, and Tennant mid 30s. But Davison the youngest.
I meant during the new series' run. The older incarnations didn't follow much of a pattern at all.
