Is the world, or rather, Britain, ready for an American Doctor?
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm ready for an American Doctor.
One that will have to fake his/her accent, but I'm ready for one.
Alexis Denisof?
Alexis Denisof's American accent is more awkward than his English one.
I'm not quite ready for an American one. I see the franchise as so quintessentially British.
The way they've been de-aging the Doctor with each regeneration, we'd probably wind up with Dakota Fanning.
Or her daughter.
Matt Smith will only be two years younger than Peter Davison was. There hasn't been a consistent de-aging trend of Doctors. Eccleston was in his early 40s, and Tennant mid 30s. But Davison the youngest.
I meant during the new series' run. The older incarnations didn't follow much of a pattern at all.
I'm with Shir in thinking about WoM that there was something wrong with the Doctor from the very beginning of the episode.
Was he just wandering the face of Mars for the fun of it? That's a pretty desolate holiday, don'tcha think?
