I actually think I'm in Matt's camp. I only have seasons 1-4 of Buffy and I think I only have Season 1 of Angel. I'm trying to break down and complete the sets, but I can't do it. As much as I like most of season 2 of Angel, the Pylea eps I had a hard time with. And Connor. And Cordy and Connor. Jasmine.

Seska, I agree on Doctor Who. I loved Ten's "realization" that as the last of the Time Lords, he was the fucking LORD OF TIME. It was creepy and awesome. I think it may have been cool to do an extended arc with that, but I also know that some people already think Ten is too full of himself, and they might abandon the character entirely if it went on too long. And while I knew Adelaide would shoot herself, I wish she hadn't done it IN HER FUCKING HOUSE. How were they going to explain her presence there after the base nuked? How would they explain the others', for that matter? It would have been better if she had disappeared and then killed herself so she could have been assumed to have died in the crash. Or, if Ten weren't on a power trip, all he needed to do was seed them in another time and let them live out their lives "Blink"-style. As long as people thought they died on the base, that's all that mattered.

Well, I just watched an episode where they tried to convince Number 6 that he was actually Number 12 impersonating Number 6, so "crazy" seems like small potatoes.
io9 gave the new series a terrible review, so I'll wait to see what the verdict is from you guys. I'm enjoying the old series so far. Close to halfway through.

Doctor Who: I liked the short-lived badassedness of Ten, and I'm glad it was kept short. In the Confidential, RTD pointed out that that's the sort of superiority complex which turns you into The Master, and we really don't need the Doctor going there for anything more than a couple of minutes. As DT said, pride comes before a fall... .
Super strong episode, loved Lindsay Duncan and the supporting cast .
I am a little upset at the BBC, who obviously moved the original air date, thus making all the references to 21st November just a bit off .
