Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I may be more in love with Fay's kids than I am with Fay. Cheers to them and to the new small fry.

If anyone needs anything sporked, just let me know - I'm in a very stabby mood today.

Please to put my left knee on your list. It might feel better afterwards. It certainly won't be worse.

Laga, I envy you. I miss having parents to be proud of.

Emily and vw, I hereby encourage you to do whatever you need to get all your stuff done AND get the rest you need.

Ooooh, and if it didn't I could get a peg leg. Of course, then I would have to get an eye patch.

In my case, that would perhaps require a personality transplant or different medication. I seem to be constitutionally incapable of either one of these things, let alone both! But thank you for the thought!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And a parrot! Though I guess one of the cats could do.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It'd be even cooler if the cat wore an eye patch too...

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It'd be even cooler if the cat wore an eye patch too...

"Me-yarr!"

Always Anti-fascist!

If you need a snoggage letter of reference, I would give you one, Fay.

yay Emily! Yay Fay's kids! Yay Fay!

Yay my friend Owen applying for a job here in Seattle! (He currently lives in Baltimore)

VW, I completely understand the "I'll just get up early in the morning..." thing. I did that to myself ALL THE TIME in college. Somehow, even though it never happened, I truly believed, late at night, that I *would* get up early...

I just got a call from the GILF (fourth call from someone this morning--my phone is ringing off the hook!). We are on for dinner. At my house. t looking around Oh dear. I really need the next few hours for cleaning. Er. However, she has a meeting at 8:30, so I do not think any cleaning of non-public areas need happen. This is not "come over for dinner and then..." (damnit!)

so freaking tired - I got up this morning only because of my teeny bookclub meeting - and I have two girls that come regularly - that's it. Guess who is sick today. Grumble Grumble grumble.

Compassionately intolerant

Calling DCistas, and visitors to our fair city who have found fun things to do that rock...besides the obvious...

My oldest friend in the Universe is here for a 6 day visit...staying on the Hill, but not with me. Thank goodness for Cap Hill Suites just 5 blocks away.

I've prepared a good menu of meals to keep going out costs down (and have taken into account the restraurant recs previously proffered for dinners out...thanks for that!)

Now I'm looking for funky things to do. She's into quilting, so I'm looking at the Textile museum and women's museum...and a walking tour.

Other thoughts?
