Special Educational Needs - a blanket term which is pretty damned unhelpful in clueing you in to what the kid's going to be like. He was quite sweet, as it turned out, & a bit feisty. Very very short attention span, but not bouncing off the walls. Mostly.

Hooray! Ran into the guy who observed me yesterday, we set a time for me to come in and go over it, and he said (just in passing), "I thought everything went great."
I am depressingly grateful to hear him say that. I mean, he may still have criticisms/suggestions/observations which may be crushing to hear, but the fact that he said anything positive, even meaninglessly so, makes me feel so much better.

I think I had a little too much to drink last night at the Bocce Club Lucky Leprechaun Dinner and Dance. I'm going over to the senior center this morning so I can sign my taxes (Dad volunteers over there during tax time) and then home. I'm always a little sad leaving here. My parents community and all their friends are so fun. I mean, I know my folks are great but it's always a treat hearing it from someone else.
