Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, sj, that sucks. Drinking some tea?

vw, I am jealousy personified right now. I saw the sunrise this morning too, but I was on my way to work, in the rain, with gale-force winds in my face.

Argh, sj, here's hoping it's not The Tummy Thing that's going around.

Our wings are not tired.

The sun is rising. I am on the wrong side of the house to verify this, but the very loud chatter of the birds tells me it is so. Guess I'd better go for my 3rd wake up call for Brendon since I haven't seen him walking yet.

Tea would be good. TCG will be up for work soon, and he'll make me a cup.

Ugh, may soothing relief find you soon, sj.

The resident rooster just started doing his thing. He's a little late today. Yesterday he woke me at 5:45.

Yes, at this time of year when I am able to have windows open I wake to the sounds of noisy birds. Ducks, parrots, doves. No roosters, thankfully.

They're all over the island. And they're LOUD. And they have conversations. It's pretty funny. This guy is right under my window, though. He's nice and loud.

We usually get woken by car alarms or beeping horns but never birds. I would hear birds in my old place in RI.

Tea is good. I feel a little bit better.

Librarian Warlord

These days I am woken by the yelp of a puppy with a full bladder. Today's bladder alarm went off at 5:30 a.m. Sass is lucky she's so cute because from 5:31 until I dropped her off at doggie day care, she was a total pest.

I hope you keep feeling better, sj!

Tonight I'm trying a new yoga class in my continuing search for a class I can stand. DC yoga teachers so far = teh suck.
