Ugh, may soothing relief find you soon, sj.
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The resident rooster just started doing his thing. He's a little late today. Yesterday he woke me at 5:45.
Yes, at this time of year when I am able to have windows open I wake to the sounds of noisy birds. Ducks, parrots, doves. No roosters, thankfully.
No roosters, thankfully.
They're all over the island. And they're LOUD. And they have conversations. It's pretty funny. This guy is right under my window, though. He's nice and loud.
We usually get woken by car alarms or beeping horns but never birds. I would hear birds in my old place in RI.
Tea is good. I feel a little bit better.
These days I am woken by the yelp of a puppy with a full bladder. Today's bladder alarm went off at 5:30 a.m. Sass is lucky she's so cute because from 5:31 until I dropped her off at doggie day care, she was a total pest.
I hope you keep feeling better, sj!
Tonight I'm trying a new yoga class in my continuing search for a class I can stand. DC yoga teachers so far = teh suck.
My stomach accepted some toast, and now I need to leave for my appointment now, so hopefully I'll be ok.
I hope the tummy stays calm, sj.
I got woken up by the dog barking - fifteen minutes ago. Oops. And, thanks, dog.
Susan, hope today is better. Sometimes stuff just hits you hard, or weird, or wrong. I hate it when it happens for no apparant reason though.
sj, hope you're not getting the bug that's going around!
Day 3 of being able to walk from the train station to work. Hella windy out there though.
