Yeah, I read the whitefont on it. Big mistake.
Natter 55: It's the 55th Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I have no idea why two girls hasn't scarred me deeper. I know it's worse than goatse and tubgirl--maybe it was too much, or I'm too hard inside.
Dammit. I haven't got enough full year info in my iTunes. My 1995 R&B query just spits up this:
- This Is How We Do It, Montell Jordan
- On the Down Low, Brian McKnight
- Another Night, Real McCoy
- Goldeneye, Tina Turner
- I Wish, Skee-Lo
- Freak Like Me, Adina Howard
- Here Comes the Hotstepper, Ini Kamoze
- P Control, Prince
Sorry--that I have three stars or more. But Snoop was fun, TLC had only just begin to suck...those were the days.
(okay, Goldeneye doesn't quite fit the mold...)
It amazes me that it's a meme seen so widely. It must be that many more people are in internet communities, because where else do people access it? Work? Grandma forwards? Don't think so.
In related news, I had to shut off the one program I found that was interesting, because it made me gag-- I was watching this guy do a medical test (whitefonted for slight squirm) where he was inserting a tube down his nostril to go into his stomach, and just watching him gag, I totally got the exact same feeling in my mouth of gagging on a tube.
I don't know where the guy who told me found it, but he spread it verbally through the krav office pretty quickly.
Oddly enough, yesterday he told me not to watch it. There's a ship that's sailed past the horizon. I think he has survivor guilt.
I was all about east coast rap, so the NWA stuff started the death for me. I know, I know.
this list hits a lot for me: [link]
When I turned on the VH1 90's countdown, I was greeted with "California Love" and Alice in Chains' "Man in a Box" Pretty excellent.
"Man in a Box"I just read this as "Dick in a Box" and was momentarily stunned that it had been that long. @@ at myself.
so, I bought a tree, but the trunk is too thin for the stand I have. Tree is currently leaning against a bookshelf. What can I do? besides buy a new stand?
wrap the bottom of the tree in something? fabric? bubble wrap?
Use bits of kindling to wedge around the base of the trunk. (I grew up in a house with a fireplace, so bits of random wood were always around. Not sure what the alternative might be.)
