When I turned on the VH1 90's countdown, I was greeted with "California Love" and Alice in Chains' "Man in a Box" Pretty excellent.

"Man in a Box"
I just read this as "Dick in a Box" and was momentarily stunned that it had been that long. @@ at myself.

so, I bought a tree, but the trunk is too thin for the stand I have. Tree is currently leaning against a bookshelf. What can I do? besides buy a new stand?

wrap the bottom of the tree in something? fabric? bubble wrap?

Use bits of kindling to wedge around the base of the trunk. (I grew up in a house with a fireplace, so bits of random wood were always around. Not sure what the alternative might be.)

I'm on the iPhone, so I can't read whitefont. Dammit, now I'll have to look up two girls one cup when I get home. I mean, if it's going to reset my Tub Girl baseline....

Our wings are not tired

It's a pretty impressive baseline reset.

Hmmm..... Maybe I'm fine with my baseline where it is.

Somehow, I suspect curiosity will get the better of me.

I was about to say, "Do you have any wooden shims?"

Everyone should have random pieces of wood around the house. Or in their tool chest.
