Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I'm just trying to get through the next week. Kids are getting crazy and everyone is getting short tempered.

I don't know why some places don't pay. The one good thing about my job is the direct deposit.

What is it with companies that just can't cut a check between Thanksgiving and New Years?

They are probably too busy having parties.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I like sour the way some of you like salt. I can in fact handle salt best with sour--we have some "Chinese sweeties" (we're so lyrical with our naming in Jamaica) that are shrunken soured plums with some salt on. Now that's good licking.

shrunken soured plums with some salt on.

Those sound pretty good.

That's pretty much the same thing, ita. Shruken soured plums with possibly more salt on. Typical for tropical regions?

I have some dried salted lemon peel that you might like.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Top five priciest restaurants in the USA.

I'm relieved Masa was #1, because that shit is ridiculous.

Seriously -- $400 for a 30-course Omakase dinner? Yeah, I *love* me some sushi, but that's INSANE.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

$400 for a 30-course Omakase dinner

I can see myself paying it if I had the money. I don't, so it's a moot point, but I can see it.

You could pay me $400 to not eat it! Hell, you wouldn't even have to pay me!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

For $400 I want more than a meal, even a really excellent meal.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Omakase has a way of making me pay the big bucks.

Not that big, but I've dropped some cash on it.
