lori: That is awesome. I am almost positive I can get them here, because we have lots of Hispanic foods, but very little Japanese. Except pocky. For some reason I can get pocky at my grocery store. I have trouble believing Canlis is the priciest restaurant in these parts. Yes, it's expensive and iconic, but I thought the Herb Farm would set you back more $$.
I noticed the article specifed a la carte, which isn't an option at Herb Farm.
(We'll do Herb Farm in 2009, I guess. For our 10 year.)

It's on Pico and Gateway, or around there anyhoo. It's supposed to be v. good, but I haven't eaten there. Then again, haven't tried The Hump either, but I know you like it.
