I totally understand, Aimee.
Annabel has a 20-month-old cousin on this side of the family, Miriam. Their grandmother and great-grandmother, I think, had hopes that they'd play together in beautiful and photogenic ways. My SIL and I knew better--they're just too different in developmental stage at this point, and they mainly play separately, except when they fight and cry when Miriam tries to rip toys from Annabel's hands!
Oh, Aimee, we know the desire is completely different from the actual twisting. I snorted and empathized with you immediately. Of course, Liv spent one night this week crying for an hour straight before she went to bed.
I daresay, there are instances of me saying things similar. Not to mention yelling at the kids to be quiet or to leave me alone when I know they don't understand.
Timelies, Bitches!
I'm in a vaguely annoyed mood, which better clear up; I have a lot I need to accomplish today!
Happy Birthday, Sparky! Hope your train ride went well and hope you are safely ensconced in the family bosom. Or something.
Good Travel, to them wot are traveling for Thanksgiving. I only have to drive about 45 minutes, and on Thursday itself, so I do not anticipate travel horror stories.
{{Aims}} Wanna trade for a 6'4" annoyed teenager?
Happy Birthday, Sparky!!!
I love seeing pictures of the globetrotting feline, Daniel. I wonder what goes on in his kitty brain? "Yeah, I was an orphan in the ancient city of Cairo, but I was a tough kid, I could take care of myself. Still, my human, she needs some looking after, so I had to come with her. You know how it is."
